Billingsley dominates Holy Spirit

TUSCALOOSA | The Billingsley Bears scored 34 points in the first half and never looked back as they pounded Holy Spirit in a Class 1A, Region 3 game.
The Bears returned two punts for touchdowns during the first-half barrage, and Terrance Nolen scored on a 23-yard run and caught a 1-yard touchdown pass.
Holy Spirit scored both of its touchdowns in the fourth quarter on an 11-yard run by Derrick Garnett and a 10-yard run by Garrett Anderson.
Garnett finished with 64 yards rushing on 16 carries. William Winter led Holy Spirit on defense with six tackles and four assists.
Holy Spirit (1-8, 0-7) travels to Fayetteville next Friday night.
